Apart from working for the Mangalore City Corporation he has devoted his time to Tulu dramas since past 15 years. Once he was recognised as a comedy artist, he joined Lakumi group and working for them for last 5 years. Mr.Chandrahasa has acted in many Tulu Drama, the most successful to name are as follows; •Kusalda Kusal •Ganguna Gammattu •Anchillath Incillaath •Aapina Aavode •Nama vaikla sai •Porlu Daaye •Erendu Ereggottu •Nambunane Nambodu •Bempinori Timpinori •Edurudomji Piravudonji •And acted in the successful Tulu movie – BIRSE He has been working for the stage since his childhood, but an opportunity given by Mr. Navneet Shetty Kadri (of Times of India) gave him a big break in the world of contemporary Tulu stage. He has been serving the Mangalore City Corporation for the last 24 years and is on the verge of retirement, but still young in heart to act for many more years. He sincerely thanks the officials of corporation who has been very co-operative in granting leave whenever he required.
